Development Trainer/Media Professional

With over 3 decades of experience, Simi Raheal is a rare combination of development trainer and a media professional. Her pivotal strength is bridging media and development. She has been actively involved in advocacy campaigns on various platforms. Some of her key advocacy experience includes gender balance, reproductive health, media, communication and leadership workshops and curriculum design. Simi is recognized in Pakistan as an activist, trainer, teacher and powerful media professional. Her voice carries weight in the public and private sectors in Pakistan.

She has been an actor and anchor for public and private television and film and theater. Over the years and due to her diverse learning, Simi is a master trainer for gender reproductive health leadership, communication and human rights. She has been teaching the MPHIL class at Kinnaird University for Women, a course on Media Production and Development. She has designed and has also taught at SAFMA over a period of 4 years and is currently the CEO of her own organization called R Vision Media Solutions.

She has a network spread across the globe. She holds the Fatima Jinnah medal for media and is a fellow of USAID, UNFPA, DFID, SDPI. She is a fellow of IIE LDM in reproductive, health, gender and leadership, a fellow of FXB Harvard School of Medicine on Health and Human rights and a GWLN Leadership and a fellow from Leavy School of Business Santa Clara. She is also the Reproductive Health ambassador for the organization called LEAD.
